Flickr Fun Saturday - 9/15/07

Today for the FFS, I'm going to be creative and do a little experiment. Here's what's going down:

1. I'm going to choose a photo from someone in my Flickr contacts.

2. I'm going to choose someone who commented on that photo (or another photo or one of the first person's contacts, if no comments were posted) and choose a photo from their photostream.

3. I'm going to repeat step 2 for each photo or user I choose.

It shall be interesting to see what I find. This will be a great way to see some work that I might not notice otherwise.

Here we go!

First, I choose this cool beach photo from Cassandra's Eye.

Dead Air
commented on the above, so check out this nice double exposure of a bridge. This guy does some nice work!

From that photo, we move on to Wandering Angel. I really love this portrait he shot!

Annamon was a commenter on the above photo, and took this lovely shot of a tree-lined road. The lines totally draw your eye into the picture.

From that photo, I move on to gatogrunge (and further away from the English language, it seems!) He takes many great photos of many different things, but the photo that stands out is this busy street scene at night.

Off we go from there to gravityx9's photostream. This person does a lot of photo manipulation. I like this one of a cowboy listening to an iPod.

One of the commenters above was sarita_cocorita. One of her outstanding photos is this footprint on the beach.

Now for ajpscs, whatever that means. He's Japanese, and takes some lovely pictures of Harajuku girls. I especially love this girl with the script tattoos and white makeup.

Next is OringeJellow - cool name! She took an amazing shot of a bridge in Washington State. Good job!

Shutter-bugg was the only commenter on the above, so I'll take a look at what she has. She takes many good pictures of flowers, but I like this squirrel better.

Mayotic's
icon intrigued me, so I'll explore her photos next. I really like the look of this church in Brooklyn. The colors work really well together.

Last, we come to *wanderlust*. How can you resist a name like that? I'm a sucker for paths and architecture, so I'll not only link to both things, but two of each! I think I found a new contact to add.

As a bonus this week, here are some photos I've favorited lately:
