Tuesday Tunes - 11/27/07

Here are the tunes for today:

What musical things are on your Christmas Wishlist?

"Get Happy!!" by Elvis Costello and the Attractions. I want the Rhino version, and I'll get it no matter what it takes. This is the #1 item on my list this year.

"The Beatles" by The Beatles. No, I don't have the White Album. That will be remedied soon, gift or not.

"On Christmas Night" by Cherish the Ladies. I've been wanting a Celtic Christmas album for a while, and this one looks like a good one. I would have asked for Ray Charles, but I think I have enough 2-CD sets on my list for now.

"The Joshua Tree" by U2, the remaster. I'll let someone else buy me a new copy of an album I already own.

Natalie MacMaster's new DVD. Unfortunately, I think this is only available in her online store. This is a must-have.

I also want a Beatles t-shirt. I need more band shirts.

Do you keep an online wishlist of music? If so where?

I keep a list on my hard drive, but not online. I need to go to the CD store one of these days and find new albums to add to it.

What would be your perfect music/music related gift if money were no object.

Concert tickets to all my favorite artists (who are still around, that is), as well as airline tickets and hotels rooms, etc., for non-local shows.

A guitar played by Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan.

A music book shopping spree.

Five CDs of my choosing (I don't want to get too many, or I won't have anything for the future).

That's all I can think of for now.

The Cherish the Ladies album looks interesting. I will have to check it out. I also need to add The Joshua Tree to my list
