Rolling Stone has posted a lengthy interview with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. Billy discusses his band's lawsuit against their former label (the label allowed the band's music used in a Pepsi advertisement against their permission) as well as his thoughts on the current state of music and record labels.
Say what you will about Corgan, but you have to admire his guts for speaking his true feelings about record labels and the music industry. He may be shooting himself in the foot, but in this day and age such opinions aren't as dangerous as they once were.
