Attention Record Companies

Dear record companies,

Could you please make sure your CD packaging fits the standard length and width of typical jewel cases? My new Coldplay CD case does not fit my CD slots on my computer desk, and I'm fairly sure it will not fit in my stacks of CD cases. It will have to live on the side of everything else, just like the remastered Pretenders album.

While you're at it, would it be too much trouble to put the name of the artist and album on each CD? I like the pretty disc designs as much as you do, but someone unfamiliar with the album might wonder just who and what they're putting in the CD player.
