Whew!

Oh man, I just dodged the proverbial bullet.

I installed one of those "clean up your hard drive" programs about an hour ago. When I finished running it, Firefox wasn't working properly. Some sites were not showing up correctly, and Bloglines and Yahoo! Mail wouldn't work.

Thankfully, I created a restore point before I ran the program. I used that, but the problem still existed. I looked in the config options, but didn't see anything that looked useful. Finally, I reinstalled Firefox. I think that did the trick.

The next time I run that cleaner program, I'll make sure to opt out of the Firefox options.

As it turns out, Bloglines really is down. Good timing - just when I was in the middle of cutting down on the number of unread posts!
