Street View!

Google recently doubled their U.S. Street View for maps and Google Earth. My hometown is finally available! Unfortunately, the coverage is very limited at this time. They're missing some very major roads, and most of the neighborhoods aren't covered either. I'm hoping that this is just the beginning of Street View in my city.

Now that I can see my city in Street View, though, I must say I'm underwhelmed. Aside from the initial novelty, there's nothing really interesting about seeing places I already see very frequently.

3-D buildings, on the other hand, would be extremely cool.
