Fjord in Westnorwegen
Originally uploaded by Reinhard.Pantke

This photo was taken in Norway, and it shows one of the gorgeous Fjords that Norway is known for. What's special about this one? I like it because it looks just like a Fjord should. You get a sense of the grandeur of Norwegian nature. The colors, while not super-bright, are very warm and pleasing. The light hits the cliffs just right. This is an image one could stare at for hours at a time.

Having grown up and spent much of my adult life near the only true fjord in the continental US, I share your aesthetic about images of fjords. Maine's Somes Sound really doesn't pose any sort of threat to Norway.

Indeed it doesn't, Wil.
