Today's Mind Hump is all about geniuses:
Movie director - Martin Scorcese and, for the most part, Peter Jackson.
Author - J.R.R. Tolkien, without a doubt. How many people ever create an entire world all on their own? Tolkien did it!
Musician - Paul McCartney comes to mind first. His melodies are top notch.
Historical figure - Benjamin Franklin. He was so very important to the U.S. way of life.

I've talked about it before, just focusing on losing Viacom rather than the ensuing lawsuit:

The fact of the matter is that Viacom isn't aiming to take down YouTube, and this was kind of old news, so I didn't want to rehash it without good insight to offer.
