Welcome to the pond

I had a very good birthday dinner!! Mike came over early and we watched some Hendrix, and then headed out to the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and gave us some little loaves of bread to start with. I ordered the baby back ribs with sides of bbq beans and waffle fries. It was all VERY good! The meat pulled right off the bones and my hands got quite messy. They gave me free dessert (which is sitting in the fridge now in a to-go box) and a gift certificate toward my next meal there. I was also given the chance to win $500 by selecting the right combination to the cash box they bring out. I didn't pick the right numbers! Maybe next year. Someone before me picked the numbers I was going to try, so I had to think of something else! Oh well.

Except for the rain we had today, I had a very wonderful birthday!! I'd like to thank everyone who has given me birthday wishes. They are all very much appreciated. I'll catch you all tomorrow!
