Hello everyone. I read yesterday that the Midweek Music Meme is going to end in a few weeks (I didn't do this week's question cause I don't really have much of an answer for it). This makes me considerably sad. So, in order to actually have something to put on this blog, I'm going to test-drive a couple Wednesday memes. If I like them, I'll continue them so that I'll survive the end of the Midweek Music Meme.
The first one I'm going to do is the Wednesday Mind Hump:
Happy Hump Day! Not only is it Hump Day but it's also Chair Day -- the day on which we celebrate the birth of the chair in 1281 BC. Sounds like the perfect time to do some chair dancing.
This week, a little "getting-to-know-you" hump with an insane twist.
01. How old is your blogging chair. Is it like an old friend or would you like to have a new one? If you'd like a new chair, describe your "dream" chair.
Well, the chair I blog in is just a typical plastic, foldable dinner table chair. It's blue and has a little padding on the bottom. I have no idea how long we've had it (it's one of a set) but I'd think maybe six years. I would like to have a new one because the one I use now is not too comfortable. A new chair would have to be easy to move, easy to stand on (so I can reach things) and also very comfortable to sit on. It also must have a back so I can lean back and relax against it. I also need to be able to adjust it so I can be at the right height to type.
02. Reality shows -- we love them, we hate them. IF there was a reality show about bloggers, would you watch it? If you had the opportunity, would you accept if asked to participate? Why or why not?
I wouldn't watch a blogging reality show. Why? Because I think it would be extremely boring! If it's about people blogging, all we'd see is people typing at a computer. If it's about the bloggers themselves, we wouldn't need to see it because we can just read the person's blog to see what they do every day. The bloggers can describe themselves better than a TV camera can anyway. I would not participate because I am shy and have no desire to be on TV.
03. It's said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." In the dictionary beauty is defined as: the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit. Going by that definition, in your opinion, who are "the beautiful people" (or person) and what is the most beautiful and awe inspiring sight you've ever beheld?
Well, there's physical beauty and inner beauty. I can't really define inner beauty, but I think the things that get my attention are eyes, hair and definitely a good smile. Sometimes I can just tell by looking if someone is a person that I'd enjoy talking to and getting to know, so I think those people are the ones I look at the most.
As far as inner beauty, I can't really define that too well either. I think people who make me happy and that I'm comfortable around are the people who have the most inner beauty to me.
What's the most beautiful and awe inspiring sight I've seen? If we're talking about actual places, I think Hawaii is the most beautiful of all the places I've been. That, and any waterfall.
-----------------
The second Wednesday meme I'm testing out is Wednesday Weird Ones:
1. What would happen if you bit a vampire bat?
It'd be the oddest lunch you ever ate!
2. Should there be mandatory trigger locks on staple guns? Why or why not?
Yes there should. We don't want an accidental stapling!
3. Why are most circles round?
Because all the other shapes were already taken.
4. Besides an aversion to circuses, how can you tell if someone has a fear of clowns?
They break out in hives if they're within two miles of Tammy Faye Bakker.
5. How has the fame changed you?
Six luxury cars aren't enough anymore. If I don't have at least ten, I feel inadequate.

I like the weird ones better than the hump myself.
thanks for supporting us over at Music Memoirs!
If I didn't support the music memoirs, my blog would be a much more boring place.
Came by to check out your Hump. Great answers on both the memes. You have a great sense of humor.
I have to admit that the Wednesday Weird Ones Meme allows for more creative, humorous answers but I wouldn't judge the Hump by just a single week.
Thanks for giving us a try. I hope you come back and give us another chance. Have a great weekend.
