Welcome to the pond

I'm back from my book shopping and I got some good stuff! The trip wasn't quite as pleasant as I'd like because it was cold and rainy the whole time! But I did enjoy finding some good books to read.

I bought "Walk This Way: The Autobiography of Aerosmith"; "Stone Alone" by Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones; and "Stevie Ray Vaughan: Caught In The Crossfire". All three are biographies (well, two are autobiographies) and I got all three for a total of $15. I bought them all used at the HUGE local used bookstore near campus. I love buying books there and finding bargains. They had a few Hendrix books, but none that I was interested in purchasing. The one I did want to buy was a bit too expensive than what I wanted to pay. Maybe I'll get it some other day.

After the book shopping, I headed back home and stopped at the Dollar Store before lunch. I got a card and a little box of candies for my mom! I knew the Dollar Store wouldn't let me down.
