Happy Monday and to those in The United States, Happy Independence Day! we also salute Canada who just celebrated their day on Friday, June 1st. It's all about patriotism so let's Mambo like crazy in our own state -- the state of insanity. Mwuaaaah! Woo hoo, whoo hoo, woo hoo!
01. Two of BDI's mottos are "Share the love and spread the insanity" and "We don't suffer from insanity, we enjoy every moment of it." Based on those thoughts, what song or songs would you recommend to be BDI's anthem?
I'm thinking "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce off the top of my head. That deals with love AND insanity. Also, maybe a few Ramones songs, especially "I wanna be sedated."
02. The natives in the halls of the BDI asylum are restless. What song(s) would you pipe through the building to calm our crazy crew down?
I'd play anything by Joseph Arthur or Jewel. Also, a really good calming song is "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley.
03. What artist or band belongs in the "Crazy Hall of Fame" for being fun loving crazy but not totally demented and twisted. On the opposite side of the coin, what artist or band belongs in the "Crazy Hall of Shame" for being totally twisted, dangerously demented and just plain ewwww!
Hall of fame - Weird Al Yankovic, Jeff Buckley, Billie Joe Armstrong.
Hall of shame - Iggy Pop, Marilyn Manson, Keith Richards, Axl Rose.

no, no! Marilyn Manson is awesome! He looks like a total freak, but in interviews he seems like one of the most normal people I've ever heard speak!!
now Axl? I don't know what the hell he's done to himself (plastic surgery-wise) over the past few years, but it's NOT good.
