A quite interesting and fairly easy Top Five On Friday:

Top Five Songs With One Word Titles

1) "Something" by The Beatles. It's a song from my newest album purchase, Abbey Road!
2) "Grace" by Jeff Buckley
3) "One" by U2
4) "Changes" by David Bowie
5) "Lenny" by Stevie Ray Vaughan

*Update: HOW did I forget "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and "Kashmir" by Led Zep?? Bad me!*

And now, just for fun, I'm going to list ALL the one-word titles from The Smashing Pumpkins' first three albums, as well as Billy Corgan's solo album. Billy just LOVES giving his songs one-name titles, as you'll see!

Siva, Rhinoceros, Crush, Suffer, Snail, Tristessa, Daydream, Quiet, Today, Hummer, Rocket, Disarm, Soma, Mayonaise, Spaceboy, Silverf**k, Luna, Zero, Love, Galapagos, Muzzle, Bodies, 1979, Stumbeline, XYU, Beautiful, A100, DIA, Strayz

That's TWENTY-NINE songs!! I suppose simpler is better for Billy when it comes to naming his songs.

Hey Russ. HAPPY FRIDAY! Greetings from the studio. I've got music BLASTING on speakers right now, so I can't think of ANYTHING other than what's playing... (We're finishing up a song called IT SUCKS BUT IT'S TRUE!) Too many words in that title!

I should just change it to SUCKS!

Anyhow, have a great weekend!

Hey, Russ. Nice list.

Great. First I forget Moby, then I forget SRV. They'll take away my Texas Yankee Visa for that. :)
