God Mandag! (Happy Monday!) I've put quite a few more photos on my Flickr account today, including a few that AREN'T cats or Hawaii photos! I'm going to try and spread out the uploading, because I just know that I'll eventually get to a point where I have nothing more to upload until I take more. I don't have a digital camera and I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon for several reasons. That means I won't have as many photos taken as other people, but that's the price I'll pay for sticking with film.

Now it's time to mambo!

Holy Monday, Mambo'ers! Today we celebrate 'Be An Angel' Day by being someone's angel and performing a random act of kindness. So fasten your halo and let's mambo-ambo-ambo till we just can't mambo no more.

Monday Music Mambo - Week 64

01. What song(s), artist(s), band(s) or lyrics do the following words bring to mind: angel, heaven, wings

Angel - "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, "Angel" by Aerosmith, "She Talks To Angels" by The Black Crowes, "Broken Angel" by Hanson. Jeff Buckley, because he had the voice on an angel.

Heaven - "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure, "Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys

Wings - "Broken Angel" by Hanson, "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins, "Fly Away" by Lenny Kravitz.

02. What performer do you think would look best all decked out in a halo, white flowing robe and wings? Which artist do you think would make the most unlikely angel?

Jeff Buckley is probably an angel now anyway, so he'd look good as one. Jimi Hendrix has probably funkafied the whole angel outfit. Sarah McLachlan, Joss Stone, Aaliyah, Alison Krauss, Enya, and so many other female artists would also make great angels.

Marilyn Manson, Fred Durst and Keith Richards are the least likely angels.

03. You're on your way to heaven and a party is being held in your honor. Which artist from rock and roll heaven would you want to herald in your arrival?

Jimi Hendrix would be playing guitar, Jeff Buckley would be singing, and John Entwhistle and Keith Moon from The Who would be on bass and drums.

04. You are the conductor of a non-denominational inspirational choir. Which eight singers would you choose?

Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Patti Labelle, Smokey Robinson.

05. Think of your favorite artists. Now, name some of your favorite artists and dub them -- angelic or devilish.

Afro Celts - definitely angelic
BeauSoleil - angelic, but they know how to have fun
Natalie MacMaster - an angel on earth
Smashing Pumpkins/Billy Corgan - devilish, with that goth thing going on
Jimi Hendrix - Jimi is off in his own little world
Jeff Buckley - definitely angelic
Aerosmith - if they had died 25 years ago, they'd be in hell right now
Rolling Stones - same thing. They made a song called Sympathy for the Devil, how more evil can you get?
Alison Krauss - sings like an angel
Stevie Ray Vaughan - he redeemed himself, so he's an angel

I'd want to see Bradley from Sublime and Kurt from Nirvana in rock and roll heaven. Then we'd all get high. ;)
