Welcome to the pond

Heads up to all Jimi Hendrix fans! Experience Hendrix will soon be releasing the Deluxe Edition of the "Live In Woodstock" DVD! It will be a two-disc set featuring all recorded footage of Jimi's Woodstock performance in the original sequence. There will also be some good special features and a new soundtrack mix by Eddie Kramer. The set will be released on September 13 and I'm hoping to purchase it, or at least put it on my Christmas list.

I don't know why they didn't just put this set out first instead of the inferior, shorter version that's out now. Wait, maybe I do know. This way they can get TWICE the money from all the hardcore Hendrix fans! Just goes to show you that sometimes it pays off to wait for better editions.

In other news . . . my brother and his girlfriend are finally getting married this weekend! Guess who's the best man? I'm a tad bit nervous, but I know I can handle it cause the wedding isn't really all that big. I'm glad they're finally getting married and not living in sin lol. He's the first of my siblings and cousins to get married, so this is a pretty big deal.
