Welcome to the pond

• It's a funny world we have. Robert Plant and Fred Durst share a birthday today. Robert is 57 years young and still rockin', and Fred is 35 but doesn't act it.
  

• Last night, for some inexplicable reason, I got the urge to re-learn the Norwegian language. I took Norwegian classes during my first two years of college, but after that I didn't really take the opportunity to continue that learning. Therefore, I have forgotten quite a bit of what I learned. The foundation is still with me, though, so I'm confident that I can start to learn the language again with hard work and focus. Of course, it's nearly impossible to learn the ENTIRE language, but I'd like to reach a level where I can read a Norwegian newspaper article and understand most of what is there. Wish me luck on that.
