Monday is here again! Time to mambo:

Happy Monday! (that's an oxymoron if we've ever heard one!) Today we celebrate Refrigerator Day commemorating the refrigerator's patent in 1899. Cool, eh? *heh heh*

Ready to shake off the Monday blues and shake your booty? Let's Mambo!

01. We all have our own interpretation of cool. What single artist do you think is the King or Queen of Cool and why?

The King of Cool was Elvis Presley. I can't explain why, but he just is. He's the first thing I think of when I think of cool.

The Queen of Cool is probably Chrissie Hynde. Other cool women are Deni Bonet and her former boss Cyndi Lauper.

02. What artist(s) or song(s) leaves you COLD ... is there a reason why?

Axl Rose and Fred Durst both leave me cold, because they're so full of themselves.

03. What artist(s), band(s), song title(s) or lyrics come to mind which involve one or all of the following words? cold, cool, ice

Cold - "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner. "Cold" by Crossfade. "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

Cool - "Cool" by Gwen Stefani. Kool and the Gang.

Ice - "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice!

Am working on a story for my paper regarding Elvis's 1977 concert here. It's funny what people remember. I miss "The King."

Bono always leaves me cold too. He really seems to think he's 'the shit'.
