Hey everyone! Guess what I bought today? I bought the new Jimi Hendrix Live At Woodstock DVD! I had to go to two stores to find it, but find it I did. I've been waiting for this one for a while, and the wait is now over.

So how is it, you ask? It's pretty damn good! It's definitely a different animal than the "Isle Of Wight" concert. Of course, it will take a few views for me to really dig it properly. Haha, dig it. I guess those 60s vibes are coming to me already. The second half of the concert is definitely better than the first, and "Red House" is not nearly long enough. The "Red House" performance on the Isle of Wight DVD is probably the best I've heard so far. Mitch Mitchell had a couple awesome solos and of course drummed with expertise the whole time. The only musicians I can really hear are Jimi, Mitch and Billy. Larry Lee on rhythm guitar is lost in the mix and the percussionists hardly make a mark. Keep in mind, this is all based on my first view of the concert and I may change my mind as I watch it more.

Did any of you all attend Woodstock? Did you see Jimi live and in person? How was it?!
