Welcome to the pond

I've been listening to a lot of Afro Celt Sound System/Afro Celts today. I'm getting so excited for the upcoming album release. Anatomic will be out in a month and a day, and I can't wait to hear it. Their music is just so inspirational and atmospheric. You can easily get lost in it and let your mind wander around in the sounds coming out of the speakers.

Those of you who make your way down to the bottom of the page from time to time might have already noticed a few little changes. I'm going to join the crowd and put buttons on my sidebar. I also have a Flickr badge down there so that people can easily get to my photos.

I don't really have much else to post about this weekend. I don't feel the need to rant about anything, or praise anything. I haven't heard a lot of new music lately. I don't really feel like doing an album review. I guess what I'm trying to get at is that I'm going through one of those really slow periods in my posting. It happens once in a while, and somehow I still manage to post every other day.

I know what I'll do. Later on tonight, I'll post some good Afro Celts tunes that I think people should hear and enjoy. Not mp3's, mind you, just a list. So look for that later on, unless I forget to post it.
