BOO!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Amazingly, Halloween fell on a Monday this year, so we get a Halloween-themed Monday Music Mambo!

1. Make your own musical candy bar! What do I mean by that? Well, you do that by using musicians, bands, instruments, genres - anything related to music - that have tastes and flavors you want in your candy bar. Examples include something sweet (obviously), something nutty, something sticky, something gooey, something crunchy, etc.

If you don't like that question, then tell us what kind of candy you think your favorite musician would enjoy eating.

The first layer of my candy bar would be caramel, which is kind of oozy and sticky. So that layer would be the Rolling Stones, because their faces are sort of oozing all over, and they stick around for years and years! Just like caramel on your teeth.

Second layer would be peanut butter, which is nutty yet a little healthy too. I think that layer will be Chris Martin from Coldplay. Some people just love Chris (and peanut butter), but some can't stand him. He's a little . . . odd . . . sometimes, but lives a very healthy life at the same time.

I'd also have some nuts floating around, and who's nuttier than Courtney Love?

Finally, I'd wrap everything up in chocolate. Sweet, sweet chocolate. Hell, let's do a milk chocolate and dark chocolate double layer. Milk chocolate would be Joss Stone and Keri Noble, who are both sweet and make sweet music as well. Dark chocolate would be Ciara and Missy Elliot, who are both sweet and make you very happy.

To answer my second question, I think Beausoleil would enjoy eating something kind of spicy, so whatever spicy candies exist, that's would they would eat. Natalie MacMaster probably loves a good Hershey's chocolate bar. Jeff Buckley, when he was alive, probably enjoyed sweet tarts and candy corn.

2. What musician would you want to dress up as for trick or treating?

Who wouldn't want to go as Robert Smith of The Cure? Maybe you get more candy because people think you're sad. I'd also like to go as a member of KISS. Lastly, it would be fun to get three friends and go as the Beatles.

3. What bands or musicians scare you the most?

Marilyn Manson, any screamy-metal band like Slipknot, Iggy Pop, Courtney Love. Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance is scary, but adorably scary.

4. Instead of candy, you've decided to give out music to trick or treaters! What are some of the artists or albums you're giving out?

Afro Celt Sound System, Jeff Buckley, and Jimi Hendrix!
