I sit here with a heavy heart listening to my beloved radio program "Loveline" with Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew Pinsky. Adam has just announced that this is his last week with the program, which I knew was coming eventually but is still hard to take. Adam is going to take over for Howard Stern in the morning on the west coast, so doing Loveline at night is not going to work for him.

Adam isn't always the easiest guy to listen to. Sometimes he can be horribly offensive and insensitive, even sexist. That does not take away the fact that he often says the funniest stuff, stuff that everyone thinks but no one other than Adam has the guts to say. I've always enjoyed Adam's out of control rants against stupid people, dumb rules, bad cops and ineffective government. I've laughed at his odd stories and have stayed glued to my seat whenever he starts yelling and screaming about whatever is making him angry.

If Drew gets a good co-host (assuming the show goes on), I'll try to listen. It just won't be the same without Adam, though. Many of the calls are dead serious, and Adam always lightens the mood and gives listeners something interesting to hear.

Hopefully one of the local radio stations will pick up Adam's new morning show! If they do, I'll definitely give that a listen. That would be something worth waking up early for. It would be even better if I can listen to it on the internet somehow. I know Adam's show is going to be awesome and hilarious.

Good luck and godspeed, Adam Carolla. You've made Loveline the only thing on the radio I listen to on a regular basis.
