I'm back from jury duty! I reported, waited, and ended up being released without needing to serve on an actual jury. We were split into groups, and my group was not called up to court. The Jury Clerk was a nice lady, very humorous and helpful. Basically, it was a boring three hours in which all I needed to do was sit around and read. The good news is that I do not have to report again for 24 months.

Here's the Wednesday Mind Hump. I wonder what's going on with Friday. She was supposed to get internet back soon, but soon has now become later. I hope everything's going OK with her.

Hello humpers! It's Wednesday again, and your memeduck is here with another Mind Hump for you to hump at. Today's theme is Neon Sign Day! Let's start the hump.

1. What does your personal neon sign say to the world?

"Getting up early sucks!"

2. Ever seen a neon sign with certain letters burned out so that it said something unintended?

I probably have, but I can't think of any. Figures that I can't answer my own question!

That's all I can think of for that theme. The theme for Thursday is Headache Day, so:

3. What gives you a headache? Could be a scent, a sound, someone's actions - anything.

Pounding - any kind of pounding - drives me up a wall!! Actually, I only really get headaches if I stay up too late, but the first example is more of a symbolic headache.

4. What song, artist or album in your music collection would you pull out and play if you wanted to give your roommate/neighbors a huge, head-splitting headache?

I might play "Purple Haze" at full volume. I think that would do the trick. There's also some Swedish rock that I could play. I'm thinking of one loud, dark song in particular. Basically, any kind of loud rock would do the trick.
