Today, just after 5, is when I learn if I have to report for jury duty or not. Wish me luck, and either way I'll post the news tonight.

Adam Carolla is no longer co-host of Loveline, so Dr. Drew is going solo for now with celebrity co-hosts every night. The two post-Adam shows I've heard so far have been hit and miss. Tonight and tomorrow, though, former Partridge Family kid and all around freakshow Danny Bonaduce is co-hosting. I've realized that Danny is the perfect choice to permanently replace Adam Carolla as Loveline co-host! Why?

  • Danny Bonaduce already lives in L.A., and already works as a radio host. All he'd need to do is switch shows and stations.
  • Danny obviously knows a WHOLE lot about dysfunctional relationships, childhoods and drug abuse. If he can get his act together, he may have a lot of insight on the topics discussed on Loveline
  • Danny is a naturally funny guy and has the same easygoing, devil-may-care view on the world that Adam Carolla has. Just like Adam, Danny is unpredictable and a bit loony at times, and that is what made Loveline entertaining as well as educational.
So hopefully someone will suggest that Danny join the Loveline family on a full time basis. It depends on what the Loveline producers want, and whether Danny would want to do it, but I think it would work very well. Drew would get a new co-host, one who is already a good radio guy, and Adam fans would get a host who is as close to Adam as anyone out there.

Enough of my jibber-jabber, here's Take Me Back Tuesday:

3 songs that have a holiday in the title or are about a particular holiday

"New Year's Day" by U2; "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by U2; "Christmas At Ground Zero" by Weird Al Yankovic

2 songs you listen to when you need to de-stress from thinking about the holidays

I don't really ever need to de-stress from holidays, but I think just about anything except Christmas music would do the trick.

1 song you'd like to give your fellow memers as a gift for the holidays.

"Mojave" by Afro Celt Sound System is my gift to everyone. It's such a warm, amazing song.
