"You Love It When It Rains" by Outerstar; "Mourning Air" and "Glory Box" by Portishead; "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window," "Getting Better," "Let It Be" and "In My Life" by The Beatles; "I Think You Know" by Duke Robillard; "How Indiscreet" by Andrew Bird's Bowl Of Fire; "Wish You Were Here" and "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd; "Home" by Marc Broussard; "Sugar, We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy; "Walking On Fire" by Evolution and Jayn Hanna; "My Doorbell" and "Blue Orchid" by The White Stripes.

What new artists did you discover this year?

They're mostly new to me: Portishead, Duke Robillard, Andrew Bird, Sleater-Kinney, Missy Higgins, The Jayhawks, Joseph Arthur, Louis XIV, Modest Mouse. Last but never least, The Beatles. Of course, I knew who they were before this year, but I never got into their music until now. My Beatles education has begun.
