Welcome to the pond

I downloaded the Yahoo! Widget Engine yesterday, and have had a lot of fun playing around with it. Very few of the widgets are useful to me (some of them are features I already have on my Statbar program), but I've found a few cool ones. Hopefully people will keep developing them. I also hope Yahoo! will make it possible for developers to have a help file or instructions for their widgets. A couple that I downloaded were not easy to figure out, so I deleted them.

What are widgets, you ask? They're small desktop programs that are run from the Widget Engine. So, instead of downloading a bunch of programs and having files scattered everywhere, you have one program (the engine) that can run multiple programs. It's very easy to open and close the widgets, and they're quite customizable.
