It's late, but it's here. It's the Monday Music Mambo, and this week's theme is Blue Jeans Day.

1. What musician looks best in a pair of blue jeans?

Women - I think Chrissie Hynde looks great in jeans. She's a jeans kind of chick.

Men - Bruce Springsteen in the 80s was the King of Jeans. He wore them on the cover of "Born In The USA" for crying out loud!

2. We all have a favorite pair of jeans. They're a little worn out, but not too much. They fit like a glove, and they're our first choice when we're having a wardrobe dilemma. What song, album and/or artist is your favorite "pair of blue jeans"?

Afro Celt Sound System and Jimi Hendrix are my favorite pairs of blue jeans. The songs "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and "Grace" by Jeff Buckley also fit the bill.

3. Blue jeans are gritty, sometimes dirty, useful in many different situations, and classic as Mom and Apple Pie. Name an artist or two whose voice you think fits that description.

The voices I have in mind for this question belong to Johnny Cash and Mick Jagger. Both are instantly recognizable, just like a pair of blue jeans. They may be a bit rough around the edges, but they fit like a glove with the music.

Okay, I've run out of ideas for blue jeans questions. The next question will be random.

4. You're at your local mall, doing Christmas shopping. It's been a long day, you're tired, you can't find what you need, and the lines are outrageously long, slow and filled with rude people. You desperately need a song, THAT song, the song that puts you in a good mood no matter how bad things are. What song do you want blaring out of the mall speakers at that exact moment?

Four songs - "Grace" by Jeff Buckley, "Fire," "Little Wing," and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience
