There's not much to report today, but I did find a cool site. If you're a fan of country, bluegrass or American traditional music, you should check out The Crooked Road courtesy of the Roanoke, VA Times. It's a site about the traditional mountain music of Southwest Virginia (including country music legends Ralph Stanley and the Carter Family) and the people who make the instruments and keep the traditions going strong. Be sure to check out the multimedia section where you can learn more about the instruments used in the music and even play around with a mix of a bluegrass tune, fading each instrument in and out at your will! Very cool, very informative.
