As always, here's the Wednesday Mind Hump. Today's theme is photography (because I'm getting a new camera this weekend):

1. Are you the photographer in the family, or is it someone else?

My mom and I are both into photography. I don't know who takes more photos. I think we probably take an even amount.

2. What kind of camera do you have? Digital or film?

I have a Yashica film camera, had it for over ten years now. This Sunday I'm getting a Canon Powershot A610 digital camera! I can't wait.

3. Are you photogenic? Or do you run whenever someone breaks out the camera?

I'm not photogenic at all. I find it hard to hold a smile for too long. Every time someone takes a non-posed photo of me, I'm always looking somewhere else or have an odd expression on my face.

4. If you could take a moment in your life, the best one you've ever had, and photograph it so that you could remember it forever, which moment would it be?

I know someone's got a photo of the moment when I got kissed in front of the Space Needle (well, the park where the Space Needle is). It was 8th grade, and we were in Seattle for our class trip. Someone asked if I wanted a picture taken with my crush, and of course I said yes. I had no idea she was going to kiss me (cheek) when the picture was taken!

Other than that, I think I'd want to photograph my first week at the University of Oregon. It was my first time living away from home, and I was free to go wherever I wanted and check everything out. It was great.

I used to be a hardcore 'film' person. I wanted to use my 35mm camera all the time. I use to be huge on photography. Then digital came out and everyone was a professional photographer now! Competition had taken center stage adn I was up shit's creek! (hehe) But digital is the way to go. You can do so much with it---and who wants to develop all that film anyway?

And you never got to keep the picture of you getting kissed in front of the space needle? That would have been a cute shot!

I take virtually no pictures of anything...I'm sure I'll regret it when I'm older!
