The day is almost over, but there's still time for

Flickr Fun Saturday

This week, I'm going to spotlight photos from some of my Flickr contacts. They all do great work, and I'd like to share their work with you all right here. If you want to see the person's other photos or profile, click their name in the upper right hand corner of the photo page.

First on my list is Ladysalana. She's a great friend of mine and a very good photographer. The first photo of hers I'm going to share is a great shot of a riverboat at Disneyland. She went there last fall and enjoyed it very much! Another photo of hers I love is this shot of the exterior of Old North Church in Boston, Mass. She traveled there last year too, and took wonderful pictures.

Karen is another good friend of mine, and she's an excellent photographer. I hope I can be as good a photographer as she is someday. She got some really great depth of field on this shot of spring pear tree buds. Part of the reason she's so great as a photographer is her location in Utah. She has wonderful scenery to work with! Check out this view from her backyard. I'm jealous!

Moodylady recently got out of her house and into some nature. This wide shot of a river is incredible, and isn't this waterfall shot beautiful? Great work, Moodylady!

Hodgepodge lives in my hometown. I like the shots he takes around town and at the University. This shot of a corridor at the University is very moody and full of interesting shapes. I also like this shot he took of the Eugene Library. It's the best shot I've seen of the place so far.

3879 likes to take pictures of her dog, Jessa. Here's a good one.

Cassandra's Eye has a good eye for nature shots. Look at the lovely colors in this one. Her dusk pictures always turn out great, especially when combined with trees.

CFaithJarvis is a proud mom, so she loves to show off photos of her daughter Lindy. She also loves her fiancee Ray, and here's a shot of her two loves together. Awww how adorable!

Here's a pretty shot of daffodils from Derek Diamond.

I haven't seen much of Dextrano's work, but I do like this shot he took of the moon.

That's enough for this week. I'll do the rest of my contacts next week. I hope you enjoyed the photos I linked to! If you're a Flickr member, stop by each of my contacts and say hello, and leave comments.

The shot of the river was actually taken on an old railway tressle that was converted into a walking path. (I'm amazed I got it...as I'm scared to death of heights!)

Happy Easter!!
