I'm finally here with the Monday Music Mambo! This week's theme is National Military Appreciation Day.

1. Name a few of your favorite (or just a few) patriotic songs.

"God Bless America," "Proud To Be An American" and "Star-Spangled Banner" are the only ones I can really think of.

2. If you could send 2 songs and 2 albums to each soldier fighting overseas to cheer them up, what would you send?

I'd send the songs "Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix and "Buffalo Soldier" by Bob Marley; and the albums "Legend" by Bob Marley and "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" by Coldplay. I think these songs and albums would relax the soldiers and take their minds off their work for a while.

3. People in the military fight for our freedom. One of those freedoms is freedom of speech. Name an artist or song that you think is a great example of free speech.

I think Eminem is a great example of free speech. Whether or not you agree with his views and attitude, it's really incredible that he's allowed to write and record the songs he has.

Patriotic song hmm God Save the Queen (I am English!)

songs to send soldiers that's a tough one...

Albums would be Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
and
Bob Marley and the Wailers Live

Pink Floyd takes you to another place and Bob Marley is uplifting and you can dance to it. Both are albums to fill you with hope!

Hard to know with the free speech - The Sex Pistols were outspoken in their day, although not neccessarily all that intelligent.
In Uk Billy Bragg was very political
