I had another busy day today. Everyone is gone to Mexico, so it's just me and the pets for the next couple weeks. I woke up bright and early and went shopping for music. First I stopped at Fred Meyers and browsed their $7 bargain CDs. I did not see anything that really turned my handle, even for that price. So, I looked around the store to see what else they had. I considered Anna Nalick, Bob Dylan "Highway 61 Revisited" and a Robert Johnson compilation. What I got, though, is a copy of the Rhino Records "Best of INXS." It was selling for $10.99, and with the $3 coupon my mom gave me (good for anything in the store) it came out to $7.99!
Then I took another bus and headed out to Circuit City to get the k.d. lang CD I so badly wanted. I briefly looked at Target but they didn't have it. They didn't have ANYONE named Lang for that matter. So I did go to CC and they did have the k.d. lang album. I bought it, did a little more shopping at the Dollar Store, and got home mid-afternoon. I'm just a shopaholic lately, at least musically.
I'll return tonight with some Friday memes.
