I'm back again with the Wednesday Mind Hump:

Today is "Board Game Appreciation Day". You know the drill, so let's get to humpin'!

01. If you were one of board games sold in stores (past or present), which one would you be and why?

I think I'd be Candyland, because I'm sweet.

02. Ever played Monopoly? If so, do you have a favorite property, block of properties and which token is your favorite? For your convenience -- a list of tokens (old & new): iron, purse, lantern, race car, cannon, boat, thimble, shoe, top hat, rocking horse, dog, wheelbarrow, horse and rider, sack of money.

I have played Monopoly, but not for a very long time. I don't think I have a favorite property, and my favorite token is the car. There's just something very elegant and powerful about that little car.

03. Create-A-Board-Game: Create a board game based on your life. Describe it. Here's some features you might describe. What would it be called. What might some of the playing pieces be? What would be the object of the game?

A board game based on my life would be incredibly boring, so I'd make a music-based board game called "Rock N Roll Tumbling Dice" (a nod to the classic Rolling Stones song). The object of the game would be getting into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Game pieces would be a guitar, microphone, drum kit, and a bottle of Jack Daniels. Everyone starts on the "starting the band" square, and you roll the dice to land on other squares where you find out what to do next or what happens to your band.

Examples of places you'd land:

"You've gained some new groupies! Go ahead one space"

"You've been signed to a major label! Go ahead two spaces"

"Your bass player died from a drug overdose, go to beginning"

"Rolling Stone gave your debut album five stars! Go ahead five spaces!"

"Uh oh! Your singer wants to go solo! Go back two spaces"

Of course, there's the possibility that you land in "jail" which means you sit out a turn.
