I'm a big fan of Adam Carolla. I loved The Man Show, and I love Loveline. I think the man is hilarious, and I WAS a fan of his fairly-new show on Comedy Central called "Too Late With Adam Carolla" . . .
Until they changed the format of the show! It's on at a new time, midnight, which I like because it means I can listen to the entire Loveline show every night. What I don't like, though, is that the live audience is gone! Apparently they wanted to change things up and make the show more "intimate" but I don't want intimate - I want funny! Adam's humor works a LOT better when there's someone there to laugh at it. I guess there was an issue about not too many people clapping or laughing, but I didn't notice it.
The show is just FAR too quiet now that the audience is missing. Tonight's show with The Donnas was even worse than last night's show with Roseanne. Tonight it's just Adam talking to his guest(s) and taking phone calls with questions FOR his guests! The discussions are far too serious. I really miss the offbeat humor that the show used to have. It used to be mostly about Adam ranting about stuff that pisses him off, taking phone calls with short questions for Adam to humorously answer, and talking to a guest for one segment only. Now the show is too quiet and too serious, and I don't like it. I may or may not watch tomorrow night, and if I'm not impressed with that I may not watch the show again until they bring back a live studio audience.
Sorry about that, I just had to get it out! It really pushes my buttons when a show I like is changed too much.

I like Adam Carolla. Although I have to admit, I haven't seen Too Late, even though it's after The Daily Show, which I watch religiously. The Man Show was waaay better with Adam and Jimmy.
my brother loves that show!
i thought he was funny, until i saw that show, i couldn't figure out what was so uncomfortable about it, but i guess it was the no studio audience... or maybe he just sucks now.
