Afro Celt Sound System - Volume 3: Further In Time (The album that changed my life! I bought it for myself.)
Nickel Creek - Self Titled (got it from my parents for Xmas 2002)
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced? (Another album that changed my life. I also bought this one for myself.)

I now realize that I really don't get albums from other people! (Not counting burned CDs)
