Once again, it's time for the Top Five On Friday. This week's category is very interesting and fun:

Top 5 albums you wished you had in your collection (If you want, tell us why you want these albums)

Here's the list of albums that are high on my wish list right now.

1) Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

I've been wanting this one for a long time. I already have it on a burned copy, which is why it's taken me so long to get it. I do like to get real copies of albums I like a lot, however, so I do want to buy the real thing. I will be getting this as a birthday gift for myself. If the store doesn't have it, I'll put it on special order.

2) Elvis Costello - The Delivery Man

I'm now really getting into Elvis' work, so I definitely want this one. I've heard several of the songs from it, and they're quite good. I also have fond memories of his appearance on Austin City Limits, where he played many songs from this album.

3) Johnny Cash - Legend

I've also been trying to become a Johnny Cash fan. In fact, I'm reading his biography lately. The question, of course, is what CD or CDs to get? I'm sure I'll get Live At Folsom Prison at some point. For now, though, I think this compilation will do the job. It may not be as comprehensive as the larger compilations, but it does have "Hurt" on it. Why would you not want to have "Hurt"? This one might still be $9 at the record store, so I'll get it the next time I go.

4) Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming

I only have one Dave Matthews Band album so far, and I definitely want to get this one. It has some of DMB's best songs - "Ants Marching," "Warehouse," "Jimi Thing" and more. This is DMB at their freshest and hungriest.

5) The Beatles - Revolver

Among the bands I'm trying to discover are The Beatles. I already have Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper, so this is the next logical step. Many people consider this the best album The Beatles made, so I must have it.

I love Revolver..but for me..the best Beatles disc is Rubber Soul.

The Delivery Man is awesome too, do you have When I Was Cruel yet? I'd buy that one before the Delivery Man.

I have all of those except The Delivery Man. Hey, don't forget to get Rubber Soul, too. It's fab and a perfect companion piece to Revolver!

watching Walk The Line got me into Johnny - I downloaded Cry Cry Cry and Walk The Line...they are haunting and good.

Rubber Soul man! But Revolver is close to me 'eart.

And you picked a good Johnny Cash. I just started really getting into him too since the movie Walk The Line, and bought this for like 12 bucks. 'Tis awesome. And worth it for Hurt alone.
