A month or two ago, I did a post about annoying commercials. Well, I have another one to talk about.
Subway has some new spots with Jon Lovitz (I think that's him. Is it?) promoting their Italian trio of subs. The sandwiches themselves look pretty tasty, but Jon gets on my nerves! He's just too perky and overdramatic in these commercials for my taste. I cringe every time he says "Subway! Eat FRRRESH!" That "FRRRESH!" is like a nail being driven into my skull.
Why do they need a spokesman for these sandwiches anyway? Just show the sandwiches for the full thirty seconds, plus the Subway logo so people will know where to get them. It's worked for Quiznos. Yeah, they finally learned that cartoon animals and talking babies don't sell sandwiches, but pictures of the sandwiches do.
I'm sure there are other commercials I could talk about, but I can't remember any of them at the moment. So I'll post again tomorrow.

Jon Lovitz is just plain annoying in general. I don't find him to be especially funny. At all.

What about that annoying Ballpark commercial guy standing next to his grill with his potbelly repeating the words...
